Most successful people have one trait in common: they are strong minded people. People with a strong mind is mentally tough and resolute about their ideals. Strong mind is also achievable with some work and patience, same as when train your body in a gym.

1. Meditate daily
Daily meditation allows you to go inside yourself, which often deals with combating some discomforts, fears or other restricting beliefs. This allows you to become more aware of what you are doing and who you are.
The problem is that it will take years for you to develop a strong mind depending on how intensively and long you meditate. If you have a time to meditate 8 hours a day, you will get there within a couple of months. The reality is that most of us just don’t have that time.
2. Leave your comfort zone
Leaving your comfort zone is something a lot of people tell you is valuable, but the reason for this is very often left unsaid. The main reason this helps in developing a strong mind is because you get to experience a wide range of things. You’ll open your mind and see new things, that is really necessary in developing a strong mind.
But, the problem is that this is very difficult to notice as you have no idea what your comfort zone really is, or where it starts or ends. Thereby you can only slowly advance towards having a strong mind as you have to do whatever you know makes you uncomfortable.
3. Face your fears
You know what your fears are, but to face with them.. is really hard to do. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that is impossible, it’s possible and you CAN do it, just be more focused and patient. Also, if you really want to face your fears you have to accept the feeling of facing the fear.
You need to look into the reason behind your fear and why that particular thing causes you to be afraid. This can be the fastest way to develop a very strong mind, but also, it’s the most uncomfortable and difficult one to do. And not just because you are going to go headfirst against the things that terrify you, but also because it’s very difficult for most people to analyze their emotions.
4. Don’t compare yourself to others
Strong-minded people are very confident and resilient no matter how other people are performing. They don’t compare themselves with the others. If you are going to compare yourself, that should be against the goals you have made and achieved in the past, to show how you’ve grown.
You should compare what you are now with what you were in the past. Make yourself better in the future than what you were in past.
5. Don’t expect immediate results and don’t give up
Strong-minded people don’t look at the failure like the reason to give up, but they use failure as an opportunity to grow and improve. Here is some more motivation and example about overcoming failure with success.
